    n. Any error that is a constant added to the input signal. Analog electronics suffer from many error sources; of these, offset error is the most common and easiest to fix. In op-amps, for instance, it’s common to eliminate offset errors by using a potentiometer. Proper design includes balancing the input impedances of both inputs to minimize this error.
